No-Bake Protein Energy Bites

Makes: ~20 bites
Prep time: 10 minutes (+ chilling)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 2/3 cup peanut butter

  • 1/3 cup applesauce

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup ground flax seeds

  • 1 scoop protein powder (about 1/4 cup)

  • 1/2 cup add-ins (chocolate chips, dried fruit, or seeds)

  • Pinch of salt

Optional tip: If the mixture feels too dry, add a tablespoon of applesauce or maple syrup. Too sticky? Add a little more oats or flax.

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl.

  2. Mix until fully combined.

  3. Refrigerate the mixture for 15 minutes.

  4. Roll into bite-sized balls using wet hands or a small scoop.

  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Storage

Keep refrigerated for up to 1 week for an easy, protein-packed snack on the go.
